We released a voice search widget for not one, but all four InstantSearch web flavors: InstantSearch.js, React InstantSearch, Vue InstantSearch and Angular InstantSearch!

We are proud to announce a new API client in our ever-growing ecosystem. You can now implement Algolia in your Android applications using Kotlin!

To help with your implementation, we’ve designed a full production checklist to consult before going live. It should guide you to build a better search, while helping you avoid making any common oversights. We’ve also added a new section - Case Studies - which you can use to review your implementation in comparison with others. Over time, we’ll be adding more case studies per industry, per use case.

We are thrilled to announce the release of the Algolia API client Python v2. It features the implementation of our common API client specification, the support of asynchronous environments, waitable response objects, and much more.

We’ve expanded our analytics and personalization sections to meet the needs of our technical and non-technical users! These features have evolved so much in the past year that we’ve had to rethink the content, to offer more detail about what they do and how best to implement them.

We’ve updated our favicon, so that you can easily find the documentation when you have multiple tabs opened! Isn’t it pretty?

On top of that we improved our performance by redoing our website’s backbone and by cutting our JavaScript size by 20%!

We’ve now made it possible to restore a deleted API key through our API clients.

Additionally, we’ve integrated InstantSearch.js for Angular into our main docs.

Huge release! We’ve redesigned our docs and rewrote much of the content. Our docs are now centered on use cases, and so should be more directly relevant to what you want to do with Algolia. You should find overviews with more examples, and lots more How-To pages and In-Depth coverage.

Additionally, we’ve integrated InstantSearch into our main docs, making our UI framework central to the Algolia experience. To get a taste, check out our InstantSearch Widget Showcase.

We rewrote most of our Laravel Scout documentation as part of the release of Scout Extended.
